Grimoire - hand made spellbooks

We introduced an updated magic system to our camp, and one of the rules describes that every magic user should have his/her own grimoire or spellbook.  

This book contains all the spells available to a person, and when he/she learns something new, has to inscribe it in the book. 

The participating kids all made their own (with our help of course), we had great fun. 

They all share the same basic A5 layout. All of them are simply holed and binded with a leather strip or something similar. The "core" is cardboard paper, the covers are leather or textile, glued.

What is this about? Sindeon is a LARP-styled children's camp in Hungary. Our nonprofit organization creates all the costumes, armors, weapons. The fight system is not combat-oriented; we do not use latex/boffer swords but a ring-based complex rule book.
